Why contractors leave CoConstruct
CoConstruct has a strong client portal, but contractors hit walls on the tools they actually use every day. Here is what we hear every week.
A price you can't see upfront
CoConstruct is no longer sold to new customers, and its users are being sent to BuilderTrend. As of October 2026, BuilderTrend doesn't publish prices. It quotes based on your annual construction volume, so you don't know what you will pay until after a sales call.
No native mobile app
CoConstruct is web-based, not a real app from the App Store or Google Play. On a phone, it loads slow, drains battery, and feels clunky. Your crew needs a tool that works like the apps they already use every day.
Steep learning curve
CoConstruct's interface is complex and built for the office, not the field. Training new hires takes too long, and most field crews never fully adopt it. If your guys won't use it, it doesn't matter how many features it has.
Limited scheduling tools
